    For anyone curious about the history of subway travel… American Experience on PBS (channel 2) is airing a documentary about the building of the New York City subway system. I believe it will be today (the 25th) at 4:30pm. I caught it on channel 44 the other day and it is fascinating. Believe it or not, it took only 4 years to get the system up and running after construction began. Tell that to the T!
